What accessibility features and accommodations are provided at the conference facility?

Modified on Tue, 29 Sep at 10:32 AM

IAAO is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive environment. All primary conference venues and partner hotels comply with local accessibility standards (ADA/Accessible Canada Act), including ramp access, elevators, and accessible restrooms.

The TELUS Conventon Centre has replaced most exterior and high traffic interior doors with automatic doors and external entry points. They have equipped them with touchless automatic door sensors. All entry points to meeting rooms can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters. You can reach each all public access floors by elevator and escalator.  More information is available on the convention center's website at https://calgary-convention.com/accessibility/

Special Accommodations: If you require specific support—such as American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, closed captioning, mobility assistance, or dietary modifications—please indicate your request during registration at least 30 days prior to the event, or email meetings@iaao.org.
